This review is from: Craftsman 17-Piece Screwdriver Set, #31794 (Misc.)
I have used Craftsman hand tools for over 45 years, making my first such purchase when I was about 14. These tools have never let me down. And on the rare occasion where you might break or damage a tool (usually by misuse), Sears replaces them free of charge regardless of age. I wish Craftsman would redesign their handles towards a more ergonomic shape, but they do what they are designed to do and as such, I will continue to buy them along with other brands I also like.

Large variety of screwdrivers that are made in the USA. So for $2.00 more than a similar amount if cheap Chinese made screwdrivers I was able to get better quality and help employ my fellow American who would put money in the American economy that would help my employer pay me.

1. It’s way overpriced. Paid $36 for something Sears.com carries for $19.99. I blame myself for not doing the research before buying so shame on me.
2. The metal is light weight and can be bent with your hands way too easily. I haven’t bent them but with little force you can see them flex.
3. One of my slotted screwdrivers(the longest one) came with the shaft inserted off center and sticking out of handle on an angle. The shafts don’t go deep into the handles and some of them have a little wiggle in them so I don’t see these standing up to long term use.
I gave 2 stars because it was delivered on time and is a good selection of sizes. I think if you only use a screwdriver a few times a year for your house then they will be ok but if you plan on using them a lot I would probably go with klein, greenlee, felo or some other quality brand. You’re better off getting 6-8 screwdrivers for same price that are way higher quality than this set.
