Great quality & price on this set of dead blows

I am a heavy equipment field technician and purchase these to keep on my truck. Thus far they have met my expectations for the price point. They hold up well and have a good solid feel to them. I use these for driving seals in, breaking loose bolts by smacking a wrench or breaker bar with them, and encouraging parts into tight spots, they have held up well and have not had any chunks of rubber come off like the popular China brand does.
I really like that they do not leave marks on parts, nothing worse than installing a $1500 part and it being covered in hammer marks! Well worth the money and will help save your hands!

Non-marring on every surface I’ve struck. Effective no-bounce design. Textured handle provides firm grip. The only reason it’s not five stars is the material seems a bit more brittle than that of similar hammers I’ve owned in the past and I’m unsure of the durability. But for now, they work well. And kudos on the packaging. The OE box and Amazon’s box both held up well despite the weight of the hammers.

Sometimes, you just need to pound on something to get it to move. A steel hammer will damage the thing, and a rubber mallet will deflect too much. These mallets are just right. Three different sizes, for a price similar to a single deadblow mallet from another maker. There may be applications where these hammers aren’t good enough, and the expensive one is the way to go. But I haven’t run into any.

The plastic seems pretty durable, though not indestructible. I can see some scratching in one of them from the end grain of some wooden pegs I was driving. The plastic also cleans up pretty well.
