For those of you with concerns about removing the label on the face of the mallet, here is the process i used. Use a hair dryer to heat the label. Once it is warm, the label peels right off. The remaining adheasive balls up and falls off when you rub with a clean finger and very little pressure. Don’t use any solvents. Hair dryer and finger are all you need

This mallet was bought to be used in the kitchen for jobs such as quartering a chicken to strike against a knife. It serves this purpose perfectly. I like the white mallet head in the kitchen because it looks less like a repairman’s tool and more like a kitchen tool.

This product is being used on paver stones. It works well for tapping down the stones. My former one I used to hammer a pipe into a bale of straw and totally destroyed it. This mallet is almost exactly like my other one. It is not too heavy, so when using, your arm will not get tired. It is of durable design and the handle is padded which is nice. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.
